The best chance to see storms in the immediate Houston area will be between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. locally before the front finally clears us out heading into Sunday evening. That will set the stage for nice weather Monday and Tuesday.
The primary threat with any strong storm on Sunday will continue to be the hail and gusty winds with a much greater tornado risk to our east into Mississippi and Alabama; the exact same spot that got hammered on Easter Sunday.
